NJIT's rocket club has nearly finished designing and planning for their first ever competition rocket, competing in Texas at the 2026 International Rocket Engineering Competition. Over the fall semester we have been busy designing the rocket as to utilize many off the shelf components to reduce cost, complexity, and ultimately increase reliability. With our design nearly finalized, parts have been ordered and now its time to build. During the spring semester we will be assembling the rocket as well as testing the avionics and parachute deployments, getting everything ready and packed away before launch day comes!
